Lock-ins are a fun and ultra-safe way to celebrate while keeping everyone safe and secure. 

Here are some tips on how to throw a safe and epic lock-in that’s FUN!

  • Choose a secure location: Make sure the venue is safe and suitable for the event. (Occupancy? Certificate of Inspection?) This could be a friend’s house, a community center, or a venue. Need ideas? Ask us! We know Atlanta inside and out—plus, we work with event professionals nationwide!
  • Make it cool—use decor elements, uplighting, live plants, and cozy furniture to create an inviting space.
  • Plan ahead: Create a detailed schedule for the evening, including activities, food, and breaks. This will help keep things organized and ensure everyone has a great time.
  • Set ground rules: Establish clear rules for the lock-in, for example—no leaving the premises without permission, no alcohol or drugs, and respecting others.
  • (Psst!) Do yourself a favor and scout your venue’s nooks and crannies ahead of time, and then either monitor them closely or light them up!
